Saturday 3/30, 10:00-11:30

1. Workshop on quantitative methods in the CCIs research (Room CR2)

Coordinator: Nikolaos Tsigilis, assistant professor, School of Journalism & Mass Media Studies, Aristotle University.

Procedure: The analysis of actual research results, published in a scholarly journal, will be distributed and discussed. Then, by discussing the article, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) will be presented and explained. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to practice commenting on similar analyses and drawing conclusions. As a member of the "family" of structural equation models (SEM), CFA is multivariate statistical analysis. In recent years, it has been increasingly used in social research.
